The current Iroku is the fourth kyusu teapot craftsman. ​The first Iroku started pottery making in Yokkaichi City in 1880. ​Making full use of techniques unique to the Iroku potters, such as the second generation's "1000 streams," and "diamond cut," and the third generation's "ultrafine cut," "chrysanthemum carving pattern," and "flower shibori pattern," the current Iroku himself is dedicated to creating his original stone wall patterns. ​The more you use a Banko kyusu teapot, the richer and more beautiful luster comes out from the clay and tea by the love are care of the people who use it. ​I will continue to devote my heart and energy to the creation, looking forward to being able to see the beautiful black and shiny precious kyusu teapot. ​The finishing technique called "diamond cut" is one of the original techniques of Iroku Kiln. ​It is a very time-consuming job, and sometimes it takes half a day to finish a kyusu teapot. ​Its radiance and unearthly beauty attract both viewers and users.
